Burger Theory Omaha: Experience Delicious, New American Burgers in the Heart of Omaha

Our friends were in town and looking for a sandwich/burger/salad casual setting on their way to the airport, and they picked this location. TBH, when I called to find out if reservations were needed and learned that it was in a Holiday Inn, which also had a water park; I shared this with them hoping they would change their minds as I had visions of chaos and kids running around screaming at the top of their lungs - not the setting I wanted to be in for our last visit with them before they left, never mind one that I would ever want to be in as I have noise issues, and I’m quick to develop a headache, and it’s hard for me to relax and hear/enjoy conversation in loud environments. We arrived and the smell of chlorine from the waterpark was a bit strong when walking into the hotel lobby. But, once we got into the restaurant I could not smell it; and, much to my relief there was only one other person in the entire restaurant/bar. Cody was the lone man running in the place - bar, service, kitchen. He was very professional but yet real and conversational, and an absolute joy to interact with. He even tolerated us gals’ unintentional silliness. Food was very good! We enjoyed a Caesar salad, chicken strips, a bacon+ burger, nacho fries, onion rings, and fried pickles; amongst our group. I am very picky in numerous ways, and having been in the hospitality industry for a portion of my adulthood - anyone who gets a positive review for me, has truly earned it. If noise and kiddos are not of concern to you, this location would be a great fit at any time. If you need/like quiet, then a Sunday midday/afternoon when the majority of checkouts have occurred, would be ideal for you.

Had a great server angel and sat took great care of me. Very friendly. Food was great. Great serving of food for the price! Definitely will be back!

I had the breakfast buffet here on a Sunday morning while staying in the adjacent Holiday inn. My expectations are usually pretty low when it comes to when it comes to these kind of places (See through bacon, "mealy" sausage and dry scrambled eggs). This buffet blew me away. Everything was fresh and of excellent quality. My hostess/server was named Natalie and was a big ray of sunshine in a tiny package. Her joyful demeanor and attitude quickly neutralized my morning "blahs".

My whole experience here was 10/10. I walked in with my hands full of party supplies and Jessica immediately greeted me . I was unsure if her and her staff would be able to fulfill my request but she insisted that I not hold back and still ask. I informed her it’s my son’s 4th birthday party and I would like to set up a few table for friends and family since I was staying at the attached hotel. She went above and beyond and set the tables up herself and assisted all of my friends and family with all request such as drinks napkins etc. it’s hard to come by great customer service in restaurants now days but this day made a huge impact on me and I was very pleased. Keep it up

Super fun and energetic bar and burger joint. 24 beers on tap, burgers, fries, pizza, salad. Good variety, and they make cocktails too. We held a get together there and the staff was overwhelmingly helpful, positive and reserved a space for us since it was a slow night. High reviews across the board for our overall experience. They have a variety of seating options from bar top, high top, tables and big booths. The locals we know here say they have a reputation for really great burgers and a fun place to go before the ballgame. By day, this place serves as the breakfast buffet for holiday inn.

Staying at the hotel and arrived with only about 15 minutes until close. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating. I had a burger with pepper jack cheese, Pico, guacamole and their house sauce- hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. I cant wait to eat breakfast in the morning! Would highly recommend if ever in the area!

Fantastic food and service! Held a large convention and party at the location and they were easy to work with quick and efficient. Incredibly nice team willing to work with you to make your event beautiful.

Huge shoutout to Stephanie. She was a fantastic server and super attentive while also doing deep cleaning and her other duties. Super friendly too. The food was pretty good, I’m not sure it lives up to the hefty price but it certainly wasn’t bad. The atmosphere feels like any other modern restaurant, nothing special it innovative.
